Over the past three years, she has helped run several AP communities and worked to create safe spaces for marginalized people to tell their stories.

As a person of many marginalized identities, it is of the utmost importance to Darby that people feel safe and empowered in the communities that they manage. They have done so professionally for places like Manzanar National Historic site as well as for AP channels such as Critical Misses and TeaTRPG.In addition to community management, Darby also has experience as a stream producer and moderator, interview host, and social media manager.
